“Gain with No pain”- 11th Edition at Saveetha

The Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Chennai had successfully completed its 11th edition of “Gain with No pain”, a comprehensive hands- on workshop on General anaesthesia and Conscious Sedation. Ten paediatric dentists from various parts of the country participated in this distinctive two day workshop on 5th and 6th May 2023. Extensive knowledge was shared pedantically by expert anaesthesiologists through lectures concerning anaesthetic and sedation management protocols. The participants were demonstrated various conscious sedation techniques such as NO2 inhalation, oral and intra- nasal methods. Their reciprocal learning was further corroborated with first hand treatment of full mouth rehabilitation cases of patients under general anaesthesia. True to its ten predecessors, this edition was commended for its scrupulousness. The aim to educate and acquaint every pedodontist to fearlessly handle children under sedation was once again validated through this one of a kind workshop.
