On May 10th, 2023, a groundbreaking achievement unfolded at Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Saveetha Institution of Medical and Technical Sciences,(SIMATS) Chennai. Ashwin Jaikumar Ram, an exceptional dental intern, made history by setting two world records in the field of dentistry. The dental community has been left in awe by his extraordinary feat. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Rubin S John, Senior Lecturer from the Saveetha Surgery Department, and with the assistance of Arunn Jaikumar Ram,Intern.Ashwin accomplished what no other dental intern had done before. He successfully performed pioneering procedures involving intraoral dermal fillers and the correction of modiolar incoordination.
